When I Consider the Darkness | Spoken Word Video | Director of Photography

When Quina was pregnant, she sent me this poem about her fears and hopes for the child that she was carrying. I cried and told her how much I loved it. In a time full of racism and darkness, it is people like Quina who lead the way in hope, teaching other how to see better. I'm so thankful for her in my life, and the impact this poem will have.

When she asked me to be the director of photography for the spoken word video and if we could film at my house, I was SO happy.

I hope this is a impactful to you as it is to me.

Come for the video, stay for the production photos! ;)
